Now available as a DIN mountable version safely installed within the EHU unit.
Campavolt is a plug and play electricty usage/pay as you go monitor. No Electrician needed, easy for the campsite to install and easy for the camper to use.
Two configurations available; "pay as you go" and scan QR code for topup or pay in person and the campsite reception can handle costs.
It Can be left plugged in and you'll recieve alerts if unplugged (sms or via the portal), locked to the socket or installed into your current sockets with electrician's help.
There are three ways to get paid:
No, connectivity for life is included in the initial cost.
Refunds are at the discretion of the campsite. We recommend treating it similarly to a car parking fee; if a camper pays for 4 hours and stays only for 1, they wouldn't typically request a refund from the parking lot. However, there's a payment history available on the portal for each Campavolt, and you can initiate a refund meter credit at any time. Campers do not have visibility of this feature.
If a Campavolt is unplugged, you receive an alert on your portal. If enabled, you'll also receive a text message notification. The Campavolt features a padlockable ring on the plug, which is compatible with many EHU sockets, preventing it from being removed. If you don't possess a compatible socket, you can purchase a tethered security cable to attach to your EHU. This won't prevent unplugging, but campers won't be able to take the Campavolt. We also offer a pole mount kit to further secure the device. Additionally, Campavolt is compact enough to fit inside most EHUs, allowing for "in line" wiring by an electrician. An extra label with top-up instructions is provided to affix to the outside of the EHU.
The device utilizes NBIOT and 2G GSM technology to ensure a strong internet connection over the cellular network. It operates independently from your internet and is contract-free.
The Campavolt can be topped up on the portal on your customer's behalf. It can also be configured to operate as a pay-in-person meter. In this mode, the electricity remains on continuously. The meter runs in negative credit, allowing you to charge the camper either in cash or with an invoice after their stay. In this setting, campers don't need to take any actions.
